This is not a tourist place, but it is ideal to know genuine local people. This kind of restaurants offers local dishes for a cheap price and good quality.
This was my first time I had a lunch in this restaurant, but I had a good experience.
In fact, I was really hungry and I ordered two kind of dishes: bacalhau com grão de bico [codfish with chickpea] and torresmos de vinho de alhos com inhame [chop pork with yam]. As I was along with a friend, she ordered polvo assado [baked ocotpus]. Both of us have found our dishes delicious!
Favorite Dish: If you like pork, I advise Torresmos de vinho d'alhos com inhame; for fish/seafood, try bacalhau com grão de bico or polvo assado.
Unfortunately our local red wine [vinho de cheiro] is not very special, but try it.
As menu changes, just ask the waiter for local dishes.
