If you are looking for genuine Azorean food, don't hesitate to visit this restaurant for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By the way I advise you to book in advance.
They have a variety of fish, including cod-fish, and meat dishes, including chicken, pork, beef and, sometimes, rabbit and goat, baked beans, baked and fried potatoes, plain rice and salads.
About the ambience, it is quite simple.
You pay €11.0 for an all-you-can-eat buffet, including drinks (wine house, juice, beer, water) and a coffee.
    The food is excellent!
On May 23rd, 2014, I made the trail Mata do Canário / Lagoa das Sete Cidades along with some friends, including a foreigner. We booked our lunch at this restaurant. All of us, with no exception, were impressed with the quality of the food. The waiters, as usually, were very kind and helpfull always attentive to our needs.
For a similar quality, visit Restaurante O Raião at Candelária village.

Favorite Dish: My favourite dish is roast goat . Usually they have it and is excellent!

    Cabrito assado - Roast kid
