We also saw two large Ocean Turtles and lots of seabirds , but no whales this time , however the guide said he`s seen ten three days ago.

    I'll recommend four islands...1- Sº Miguel2 - Faial3 - Pico4 - Terceirabut you have 5 more to visit - Sta Maria, Graciosa, Sº Jorge, Flores and Corvo.Sº Miguel is the most tourist and perhaps the most beautiful...but faial have a lot to see too, I don't know, pick the four.

    Famous for it's two different colored lacs; one blue and another turquoise. There is a beautiful legend of a princess and her forbidden love that explain why the lacs both vary in color.
