Just a quick note to tell you about travelling in Portugal with a car. It's a great way to get to least accessible places, which usually are the best ones. But there are somethings you should be advised of. portuguese don't have a very civilized and respectfull driving (they seem to think they're smarter than all the rest, whatever that means), our roads are lousy and we actually pay to drive them :0 If you have to take motor-way (which is an option that i don't really enjoy, but in portugal the other roads are even worse, and it's a lot faster) be ready to pay... a lot. let's say, from Lisbon to algarve you can pay 15euros of toll!! (you can close your mouth now :)) ) but hey, you're on holidays. lol Leave a Comment Theme: Car/Motor Home

25th de April Bridge by TinKan The bus and train service around Portugal is very good. If you are a student you can get your train pass for around 50% off and the bus provides a hefty discount as well. If you are coming from the USA purchase a 15 or 30 day rail pass in the states before coming over as you can get some good deals on one country rail passes. Leave a Comment Theme: Train
