As the name suggests it's right by the harbour, the smell of the pizza oven is very enticing but we tried the shopska salad, very fresh and tasty, a couple of beers all at a good price, ideal spot for lunch.

Good Chinese food in a great location inside the old town. Outside eating area in good weather. A popular restaurant, get there early.
Food very tasty, Mrs Bonio had many vegetarian options. Try the almonds with honey.

Undecided where to eat one evening, happened to be walking past this one so, choice made.
Good choices on the menu, barbecue pork for me and vegetarian pizza for Mrs Bonio, very thin and crispy and probably the biggest pizza we have ever seen, it fed us for lunch the next day too! prices good.
Some pretty good live music on as well, recommended.

On the front beach promenade you will find the Sunce grill which is an outdoor restaurant. We had some traditional raznjici (shashlik) and pomfrit. The pomfrit had to be ordered separately. The meat cost Euro 3.00 and the French fries Euro 1.00.

If you only want a snack or are on a tight budget you may consider eating a palatcinke at one of the many stands on the promenade.
Although we couldn't really read the menu which listed all the sweet varieties, I asked for one with cheese and ham which was promptly made. It was rather big and for Euro 2.00 it was excellent value.

This café is located at a prime location in the old town of Budva. You cannot miss it while sightseeing as it is just opposite the most photographed church.
The café consists of a big outdoor terrace with sunumbrellas. Service was attentive.
They offer all sorts of drinks, cocktails, ice creams and other desserts.
Favorite Dish: I had an ice cream by the name of "Bounty" for Euro 5.20 and a black tea with honey for Euro 1.50.

This is a huge beach restaurant with a variety of dishes. One section was obviously self-service but we sat in the other section. The menu comes in a variety of languages. I only had a chicken soup which cost I think Euro 2.50 and was good.
I noticed on the menu that for meals you have to pay a "kuvert" which is a fee for the cover like napkin, cutlery etc.

If you are looking for a place to taste the real Montenegrin cuisine, the Nacionalni Restoran is the best place in town to visit. The restaurant's specialty is undoubtedly its meat dishes and its stews/soups. However on many occasions I've visited the restaurant and had fish, pasta or vegetarian dishes and they were all top quality.
The atmosphere is very relaxing due to the combination of wooden chairs and tables, surrounded by lots of plants and plenty of sunlight during the day. The service is also very good. It is difficult to gauge how much a lunch could cost per person since the Menu is very varied but expect somewhere between 10 - 30 €.
Favorite Dish: Simply have to have a stew or a soup before eating anything in this restaurant. After that I really suggest having Veal or Lamb meat baked in ash.

The restaurant is located right on the beach, with palms tree arrownd, so you may have a nice dinner because the background is beautiful.
Food is always fresh (there is no time to get old, is always full and, anyway, they keep the "food" alive in a box in the sea).
The owner is always there, saluteing the guests and checking everything.
Favorite Dish: First time I try the fish menu (this is the cheapest on the menu and contain 3 tipes - a full menu - with just 9 euro). Very good!
After that we try a special fish (40 euros). EXCELLENT!

Had a hankering for a Chinese during our stay in Budva and decided to try this Chinese restaurant in the Old Town. Regretted this decision after we got our meal! They say never eat in a Chinese where the chef isn’t actually Chinese. We should have heeded this advice because the Montenegrin looking chef hadn’t a clue. This was the worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten in.
I got the Chicken Szechuan and Denise got Chow Mein. Both looked and tasted exactly the same. The sauce was like some sort of squeezy BBQ sauce and the veg were obviously from a tin. And correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Chow Mein meant to be served with noodles as a rule? We had to order them as extras and what we got weren’t even noodles, it was a plate of taglateli pasta. I got fried rice with veg as a side dish and this arrived later than the rest of my meal with the waiter telling me it was still being prepared. When it did arrive it was stone cold...I’m still wondering why it was so cold if it was being prepared even after my main dish had arrived. Terrible, terrible, terrible. At home we would have got up and left.
