Herceg-Novi Restaurants

Fantastic place to have a lunch. You can enjoy at the beach and when you get hungry you don't have to go enywhere, just climb a few steps to the terrace and here you are. However, if you want to have a meal inside you have to be dressed properly. It is also nice plase to have a dinner to. In the night it looks very romantic.
They serve international food.

Favorite Dish: I had a rolled chicken and I have no complains.

This fabulous restaurant-caffe is racently opened. The owners are waterpool club Jadran and one company from H.Novi. Nice place eather for a drink or a meal. In the basemant is Konoba, first floor is used as a caffe ( it has a huge terrace with a view ) and upstairs it has an elegant restaurant. Beside this, visitors can enjoy the viewing of sport events from over the world. There is as much as 23 TV monitors and one video beem.

Favorite Dish: Only had a drink several times, but I was told that food is great too.

A secluded caffe/restaurant with an open bar, with its own beach/access to sea.

Great food and the best is you can take a dip and then come back for some good coffee, soda or a fish meal.

The best thing is you can get your table reserved during your stay at Miriste, to await you every morning with a cup of your favorite freshly brewed coffee.

"Fast food" in Montenegro doesn't mean the same thing as "fast food" in the US (McDonalds, Burger King, etc.) Walk along the promenade in Herceg Novi, and you'll come across a number of "fast food" places. In Herceg Novi, these are outdoor grills that serve local traditional grilled meat dishes.

Although I'm a vegetarian, my husband loves grilled meat (and does a pretty good job grilling himself). This is my husband's kind of place. Just for you, Honey Bunch!

Favorite Dish: Traditional Montenegrin meat dishes such as vjesaliga, pljeskavica, kabasica, cevapi, raznjic and piletina are grilled on the outdoor grill.

At these fast food places, you can get a meal for 1,50 and 2,00 Eurodollars.

With prices like that, you can be generous and leave a 30% tip!

Because Herceg-Novi sits right on the shores of the Bay of Kotor, the local cuisine consists of a lot of seafood. Back in my fish eating days, I loved the seafood here. The fish had names I had never heard of in the United States - and they were all delicious.

Favorite Dish: Just order whatever - that's what we did. Our favorite was whole fish marinated in olive oil, garlic and parsley, then grilled, with the marinade served on the side with a lemon wedge.

Head to the main plaza in the old town section of Herceg Novi and you'll find a number of restaurants with tables set up in the plaza. We chose Lokanda for pizza and it was a fine place to eat.

Everything is a bargain in Herceg Novi. We bought a delicioius large pizza for 2,63 Eurodollars.

This is a picture of my daughter (left) with her two Serbian cousins, Mina and Anna. Coca Cola, as you can see, is universally liked by the kids.

In Herceg Novi, Cokes are served in those cool bottles that we used to get all the time in the States years ago, rather than cans.

The name of the restaurant is KANTULA.
The interesting thing about the place is that it has a TV in the garden, and we didn't see one in days, so... ;o)))
Prices are very good and the miels are more than satisfying.
And it's just some few hundred feet from the tennis courts. Well, just ask someone...

Favorite Dish: Definitely try some of the grilled miels.
