The train to Kolasin is an engineering marvel. Perhaps as much as half of the route is inside longs tunnels through the high mountain.The views, when you emerge from a tunnel, are out of this world.
The train from Podgorica is cheap, fast, and comfortable. The train station in Podgorica is right at the bus station.
The train is quite an alternative to road transport, because the road stays at the bottom of the gorge and you look up at the mountains, while the railroad is far, far above the streambed and road.
This train journey is one of the best train trips in the world. It should be the subject of documentaries and television series.
