Bar in Kotor: Sure it would be lively

by Kardrew

I can't remember the name of this place but we sat out a rain storm in a really lsmart bar in Kotor medieval town. The place was lovely, great for people watching, good coffee & I'm sure would be lively & fun at night (the rain had stopped so we had moved on) Casual in the day but probably smart at night

resort area: Petrovac

by summer70

We visited Petrovac, Montenegro in September 2003. The first week, the seafront was full of cafes with bands playing live music, from chart hits to local music. It was great to stroll along the promenade and take a drink at one of several bars/cafes and soak up the atmosphere. And the small nightclub near 'the rock' was great to sit and watch the sea, and listen to music from the large speakers! But by the second week in September, nearly every spot was closed at night, and the evenings became a little dull (although taking a 'promenade' was nice enough).I would advise visiting in the months of July and August if you want a variety of nightlife in Petrovac. Anything goes, but take a jacket, as the evenings can get a little chilly.

Night life in Budva: DISSAPOINTING!

by skinz

There is no music after 1.00 am (even on peak summer seasons, on the weekends:))I understand the municipality protects the rights of the citizens who need to sleep - but what about those that need entertaining. It makes sense to have some good music and dancing at night when you go on holidays.

cafes: cafes

by Aurorae

Along the coast there are umerous cafes, as well as in mountain tourist centers, like Durmitor (town of Zabljak), but it is a bit more difficult to find great ones in the interior, however, they do exist. In the summer everything is full of people and most modern bars to hang out. :)
