Restaurant Njegusa serves the famous Njegusi smoked ham, cheese, and olives either plain or in the form of a sandwich. Many organised tour groups stop here for the taste of a truly Montenegrin specialty.
Favorite thing: Njegusi is wonderful village in mountains - in the Lovcen National Park; the rural architecture is kept in good condition and they make delicious cheese there. Cheese, wine and prsut (dried meat) can be obtained at almost every house in the village! It's certainly one of the best culinary places in Monte Negro and has beautiful landscape plus very friendly locals.
