    This small sunny square with church is one of my favourites in Perast. If you check it better you'll recognize the place where comercial for "Lav pivo" were made ;-)

    The climb up the 55 meter high belfry next to Church of St. Nikola isn't too difficult and it's well worth the view.

    My son and husband are enjoying the view from the top.

    Gospa od Skrpjela ( Lady of the Rocks) is a little artificial island in Risans Bay near Perast. And it is definaltel MUST SEE for anyone who gets close .

    Islet St.George

    Church of St. George was built on the islet opposite to Perast. It belongs to Benedictine Monastery which was built in the XII c. The other islet is more popular but I find this one nice too.

    The most beautiful buildings were built in 18th century. This picture shows Zmajovic palace. Hopfuly one day it will be renovated. It surely deserves it.

    Church of St. Nicholas which was built in from XV-XVII c.It has got exuberant Treasury.
    It is one of the most recognizeble signs of Perast with the exeption of the islets, of course.

    It is situated in one of the most famous palaces, Palace of Bujevic and it can offer the visitors a lot to learn about very interesting past of "this nest of the sailors".

    Hire a boat to see Perast from the sea. You can also visit the two church islets which are realy close to the Perast coast. Do not miss it.

    It is very small so you can realy explore it in one day. But do not hurry, take the time to soak the armosphere of the glorious past and quietnes of the present.
