Pinus Maritimum is the beach restaurant & pizzeria located by the entrance of Lucice beach. The restaurant has several terraces shadowed by pine trees and overlooking the beach. Although the food is very good, the prime quality of Pinus Maritimum is superb spot it occupies and the way it is incorporated in the natural rock structure. It is a great experience to have a drink or a meal in it.

    Beach Club Ponta
    1 more image

Beach Club Ponta is situated under the cliff right at the southern end of the beach, and is a good place to settle down to relax as it has mainly sun beds instead of seats, and there are steps leading down from the platform on which it is situated to swim from. It serves pizzas as well as drinks.

When we revisited it in 2008, it had been smartened up and was charging 10 euros for a pair of sunbeds with a sun-umbrella, so we sat on seats at a table instead, as we were only stopping for a drink.

Bonaca is seafood restaurant in the street by the coast in Petrovac na Moru. It looks pretty modest but it offers probably the best seafood in whole area.

Favorite Dish: Grilled squids, black cuttle-fish risotto, mussels bouzzara, fried shrimps… are very good choices.

    Olive Bar: King size Bugers

by louisepepper Updated Sep 16, 2007

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Olive bar is a take away and an eat in restaurant / bar grill. It is excellent for a lunch time take away. The burgers are massive and excellent value at Euro 1.50. What made the experience memorable was the lady who served us. She could not speak English and our Serb-croat virtually non-existant, but with gestures and smiles she made herself understood. She saw how hot we were and handed us a glass of water with ice while we waited (no charge)! She was very friendly and each time we walked past during the week she smiled and waved.

Favorite Dish: The hamburger is a must! It came on a large bap with masses of garnish, salad and dressings.
It is huge and would be enough for two people.!

    The frontage to the restaurant

The restaurant is located by the sea front and the layout of the tables ensures a perfect ambience. Menus are also available in several languages and the waiter that served us spoke perfect English. He was very professional and attentive to us, even offering to take a photograph of us when we had finished the meal. The food was perfect and we could not fault it in anyway

The meal was excellent value. Three courses with one wine, one beer, two coffees and two brandys came to 36 Euros for 2 people.

Favorite Dish: The menu is varied and even caters for vegetarians. The grilled vegetable platter was wonderful, the steak was cooked to perfection and the pasta primavera was creamy and full of vegetables. The pancakes were delicious. The meal was extremely filling.

At the end of so-called town beach (on the left side when looking at the sea) there is a very pleasent cafe restaurant on several levels, in the open air. You can eat some light meal (pancakes, pastas, pizzas) and drink very good coffee. It is possible to sunbath while drinking, maybe some of coctails. You can enjoy the sun in peace as Ponta is quite isolated. But, at night it becomes very live.

Levante is the beach bar at Lucice beach, very common, but very nice as well. It has a good choice of drinks and cocktails.
