 JLBG Says:  In the side street where the markets extends itself, stands, or I should better say lays the fashion shop. It has a wide assortment of dresses, at least a dozen. It has also top mannequins (I mean mannequins for the upper part of the body) that display blouses. 

 JLBG Says:  This shop, though also single storied, is much wider than the others. That must be the largest shop of the Vladimir market. Moreover, it has every commodities as it has its own garbage cans and not only one but three in a row. 

 JLBG Says:  Earthenware plates and glasses, is all what this lady has to sell ! She has perhaps also some cups with their small plate as one is on display, so may be she has others in her warehouse, I mean in the cardboard box. That makes anyway a very limited shopping. 

 JLBG Says:  A group of women seem to discuss hard about the price of onions (in the orange sack in the middle of the photo) or of tomatoes (in a cardboard, behind). An old man, in the foreground, on the left, keeps his yellow melons and a cardboard box of imported Bonita bananas. In the... 

 JLBG Says:  This peasant, with an antique tractor IMI 539 DeLuxe has left his watermelons in his trailer. The scale to weight the watermelons is put directly in the dirt of the side road and, for his comfort, he has brought a nice blue plastic chair. 

 JLBG Says:  This hardware dealer seemed to have everything that could fulfill the needs of the local population : hammers, sickles, scythe blades, pruning shears, whetstones and more. He has found a special way to display his goods, on top of the hood of his car ! 

 JLBG Says:  The market was scattered along the road. Local producers were here to sell a meager crop. This man was waiting under an umbrella, behind his car with a dozen of watermelons, a few yellow melons and a handful of tomatoes. He will not bring back much money home ! 

 JLBG Says:  On the side of the house, the terrace continued into the entrance of a little cave where cascaded a small spring that fed a basin where fishes were swimming. The cascade can be seen in the middle of the picture, on top. The basin is at the basement level. 

 JLBG Says:  At the bottom of the cave, left to the spring, they had reconstructed the inside of a traditional house with a an old wooden spinning frame (on the right, half hidden by a rocking cradle) and a weaving loom, on the left. Various tin and brass pots were standing on a shelf... 

 JLBG Says:  We found a large house, built on a rock, with, on the rear, a large wooden terrace that overlooked a wide flat space (background of the photo). No lake ! A pair of Guinea fowls was standing on the fence of the terrace. I guess they were not for dinner !We ordered dinner (we... 

 JLBG Says:  Suddenly, when we had done about half the way back, I saw in my rear view mirror the sign for a restaurant, showing a fish ! I thought : 1) Fish = water = perhaps lake, 2) why a restaurant would be here, in the middle of nothing, if it was not on the shore of the lake ? So,... 

 JLBG Says:  We drove for another 4 km (this time, I looked at the meter !), which altogether should have made almost 7 km by now and there was still no lake. At one moment, we had to overtake two cows and a flock of sheeps which was not easy as the road was narrow and they would not let...
