Local Coffee

by canuckmike

One of the souvenirs I like to pick up for people is the local coffee. One of the coffee brands I picked up for my mom. It is called Tetka Zlata. I thought it had a unique package. If you are in to trying local food and drink you can try this brand.

Njeguski sir

Another good idea for a gift from Montenegro - cheese from Njegusi.People who make and sell cheese are easy to find as they put boards in front of their houses. The lady I bought cheese from charged me 10 eur/kg. One cheese weighs about 1,5 kg.

Vranac

Best gift from Montenegro - red wine "Vranac".It's really good and quite cheap. Expect to pay from 3 to 3,5 euros. In Zabljak (Durmitor NP) we found it for 2,80 euros!
