Enjoy Montenegro's beaches

Montenegro's Adriatic coast south of Budva has plenty of good beaches. Some are all pebbles, while others have sand. The photo on this page was taken at the King's Beach in Milocer, which is about 8-10 km south of Budva between Becici and Sveti Stefan. Bring a chair or mat to sit or lay on - or rent one if possible. Pebbles are no fun to lie down on with just a towel or blanket underneath you. Also, bring sandals or water shoes to make walking on the pebbles more comfortable.

Montenegro has magnificant mountains (especially Durmitor and Tara) which offer great winter sports possibilities. There are many cables and marvelous ski paths. I recommend Zabljak, on Mt. Durmitor above all.

In Montenegro there is a great variety of water sports possibilities - swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, windsurf, waterpolo, canoeing, rafting, fishing (why is that a sport I always wonder...?), water ski, banana boat, water "motorbikes", deep diving, oarachute pulled by the boat, and so on and so on... Let your imagination free!!
