There is no official dress code, but the place is so elegant that it's a shame to enter it looking scruffy. I do recommend putting on mosquito repellant before you come here cause the amount of mosquitos that bit me during the three hours I set on the terrace was unbelievable. The cafe staff even put out mosquito repelling burning spiral thingys all over the terrace, but believe me they do not HELP. The concert hall now has new seats, new wooden flooring, new lighting and new ventilation system. In fact, the only aspect of the concert hall that wasn't changed was the hall acoustics.
I attend a concert here last time in the winter of 2002. The tickets were beyond cheap, approximately $2. I got in for free cause my best friend is a musician and hence sometimes obtains free tickets.
Most people dress up when they go to a classical music concert. At a concert of Beogradska Filharmonija most people are rather elegant. If you happen to be there like I was, on a night when foreign dignitaries are present, you'll get to see women in expensive designer clothing and jewellery. Beogradska Filharmonija has a free coat check so you can leave those bulky winter coats outside the concert hall. A great place in the tower of Kalemegdan Fortress, a cafe in several stories, where you can order by interphone. ) There are great pictures and antiquities hanging on the walls. It's THE place for quiet, romantic atmosphere, it's never crowded and all the tables are in separe, where you can have your own privacy. Music is excellent and not loud, as usual.
There are lots of possibilities to take spooky photos!!! And the place is not crowded! Leave a Comment Theme: Other
