We were getting ready to call it a night. I had to get to the hotel and get some sleep before leaving the next morning.
This however, did not happen. At the bar in the hotel, I ran into someone I knew and had 2 more beers... it was a little tough to wake up the next morning.
Then 18 hours in transit!!! Ugh!!!
Dress Code: it was February and cold like you would not believe... my suggestion is to dress warmly.

Blaywatch is the type of club we call a "splav". It is a club ona boat on the river. It has a swimming pool (although you can't swim in it) and attrats a very trendy crowd. Definately the place to go to see and be seen! Also, it's got a great seating area with huge couches where you can sit and relax and watch the city, or of course you can go crazy on the dancefloor!

Sova means owl in Serbain, and it's easy to see why. During the day it's an elite restaurant, that transforms into a wild club at night! Actually, it's really stylish and it has a very relaxed atmosphere, a nice club to go, chill out, and have a good time!

This is a really new and unique club with the best coctails in town! The barmen are really friendly, their policy is to comunicate as much as possible with the customers and they may even sit and have a drink with you! It's also got a massive dance floor and great live events. If all this isn't enough for you, it's also got a really great view of the city!

The Lava bar is a really nice bar lounge and restaurant. It serves mediterranean food, really good wine, and has a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The crowd is a bit older but it's really pleasant, especially in their summer garden!

Exile is one of the first river clubs to have opened 10 years ago for people looking for a good time. Each year it gets bigger and better and gets many great international DJs as well as young hopes from homes!

During the nineties occupied by the communist party, oozing with mostly techno-folk music, everybody thought that one of the legendary Belgrade cafe-clubs was gone forever. Today, renovated and cleaned its trying to renew its image of the "cool" club. With imaginitive theme nights and a lot of live gigs, it nearly succeeds. However, high drink prices and a bit sterile enterior somewhat spoil the whole picture. Strange mixture of both younger and older people visits this place, so you can't go wrong no matter how old you are. Tuesdays - classical music, fridays and saturdays live gigs, cakes on sundays. Website in serbian only.

Andergraund is one of the first clubs in Belgrade with a bit more "urban" atmosphere. Today, it is sometimes possible to see remains of that spirit, although a number of newer clubs took over that role. Andergraund plays mostly house music and all its variations. On fridays DJs spin hip-hop, and on some days electro or techno records on their turntables. Entrance fee usually around 2 or 4 EUR, sometimes girls can get in for free.
Anyway, it's a crazy club with a great atmosphere, good music, and live dancers..what more could you want?

Not only is Baltazar a club, it also has some history to it - a great place to go take in some history while on the dancefloor :-P
The place where Baltazar is at is near Kalemegdan fortress and was a Turkish wine cellar 200 years ago! It now has 3 areas - a huge dancefloor, a DJ area, and a special VIP area! Some of the best domestic acts come to perform here as well as many international DJs..it's a great club!!

Formerly known as Mondo, it's still one of the few clubs in Belgrade where it's normal to stand in cue before you manage to squeeze yourself inside. Atmosphere is very hot and sweaty, drink prices high, younger crowd under the influence of... music. Trance, techno, tech-house, drum'n'bass and everything that excludes guitars and real instruments.
