Mornar (sailor) is restaurant in the very center of Belgrade. The web page of the restaurant says: "This restaurant is famous for its good cooked meals, and generally for good cooking at really acceptable prices. Businessman gladly come here as well as singles and those who want to eat well and fast" – we consider that to be modesty. Another affirmative datum that can be found on the internet is that Mornar was declared as the restaurant with the best cuisine, several times. Mornar appears simple and plain – light blue walls, tables & chairs, blue & white table-covers. The only sound is rumour of chats, conversations, debates… Profile of those who use to have coffee, drink, a meal… in Mornar range from teenagers to deans of faculties, from art students (and other students) to businessmen, from love couples to poets, artists…
Our tip may look like a commercial, but Mornar is one of a very few of our favourite restaurants in Belgrade, and certainly the one we drop in the most frequently.

I think it's one of the best restaurants in Belgrade, at least from my experience. The service is excellent, people are friendly, food is GREAT and the prices are good. You can have dinner and enjoy the sounds of traditional oldcity music.
Favorite Dish: Karaðorðeva šnicla, proja, kajmak....

As Dva Jelena , Tri sheshira is Belgrade Institution.
Place where noted polititians, writers, poets & artists use to gather, and still gather.
Places where many of Serbian best literary works were penned.
Walking into Tri sheshira is like going back in time, Belgrade in the late 1800s.
food is great, and the menu is made up of roshtij (mixed grill).
In the eavnings they have live music. Great athmosphere for young and old. skadarlija is place to be.
Favorite Dish: Roshtilj.

Favorite Dish: Tipical Serbian food. Ask staff, for recomendation.
You have to do all the Serbian thing, start with Chorba( soup/broth) and go on......
Do not forget rakija(shnaps)...Shljivovica is tipical serbian one. Made of prunes. 100%proof.

The Restaurant is very interesting place, with impressive vine list and great food.
Mineral water, coffe and beer can be ordered but you do not pay for it.
Many people come to Suri for the extencive menue and knowlage about vines. So the whole philosophy is good food goes with good vine.
Favorite Dish: Everything!!!
And altough I am not vine drinker I find myself that I enjoy food and glass of vine.

Dva Jelena is Institution in Skadarlija District of Belgrade.
the restaurant exist on that spot over 150yrs. Many of the famous Srbian writers and polititians made Dva Jelena their wattering hole.
Live music in the eavning and just feel of Belgrade in the bygone era.
Favorite Dish: National Serbian food.

Indulge yourself in a cosy restaurant and experience the full taste of a real pizza!This is one of my favorite pizzerias because the service is excellent,food is very tasty,prices unusually cheap.You have an opportunity to make your own pizza!!Besides pizza they also have pastry,pasta,international meals...for everyone there is something hoot in this place!

This is prolly the best Italian food restaurant in Belgrade. It's not in the center of the city, but not that distant; + it's worth the effort finding it.... :)
I hope u will try it when u visit because it's an incredible experience. At least was for me :)
Favorite Dish: For u're first time there (read: FIRST because I'm sure it won't be u're last) I would recommend a half Quattro Stagone half Quattro Fromagi, and a Botako cake for desert.

Located in Skadarliyu , it was hard to choose , as there are many interesting resturants here. We loved the mixed grill. The house wine was surprisingly good , for such a cheap price . About $10.00 per liter!!

Wonderful ambience including a garden in the spring and summer. The hall features nostalgic black and white photos of old Belgrade. The food is really good, not the cheapest but not a rip-off either. Go for kajmak or urnebes and prsuta for starters and then savour Karadjordjeva snicla. You will be so stuffed when leaving the place that a walk to your hotel will be welcome!
