by ruki If you did not spend at least half a day strolling or shopping no one will ever believe you ever visited Belgrade. Knez Mihailova is also a specific catwalk where the women of Belgrade like talented amateur models stage a never-ending fashion show - day and night. Having seen with their help what is the latest fashion, get your credit card or better yet some cash and treat yourself to something. Must visit: CITY PASSAGE shopping center, Obilićev venac 18-20 (working days 09.00-20.00, Sat. 10.00-16.00) NEW MILLENNIUM shopping center, Spasićev prolaz (entrance from Knez Mihailova 19-21 and from Obilićev venac) working days 10.00-20.00, Sat. 10.00-16.00 Leave a Comment Theme: Women's Clothes

But in my opinion "Belgrade Brandy - Slivovitza" is an exclusive and the best gift. We called it rakija – sljivovica.

by ruki Some of the large halls at the Belgrade Fairground have been permanently converted into a shopping center with countless little shops dealing in clothing, technical devices, cosmetics, food and all sorts useful gadgets. The main advantage of this BAZAAR (as it is officially called), is that it is open Sundays as well. The Belgrade Fairground is a great place to shop when various fairs are staged and especially during the "New Year Fair". Čokolada by Jelena by Aurorae Have you seen the movie "Chocolate"? Well, This is what you are going to see in this shop!!! An incredible range of the most attractive, delicious chocolates of ALL kinds: milk chocolate, bitter, white, with filliongs that you can only dream about - liquors, nugat, marzipan, peanuts, almonds, crisp, even chips, orange, strawberry, raspberry, wahlnuts, coconut, mint, etc etc etc with all the possible combinations! THe flavours are absolutely IRRESISTIBLE! Each little one is a perfection of its own, and you can choose your own setting for the price of 180 dinars per 100g (that would be about 2,40 euros), and that is HIDEOUSLY expensive for Serbia, but it is very well worth every dinar. A real paradise for all senses! UPDATE: In the meantime they raised the price! Now it costs 300 dinars per 100g, which is 3,50 EUR at today's rate! Or, 35 EUR per kg!HIDEOUS!!! Even in Belgium is 2-3 times cheaper! You will get your chocolates deliciously wrapped and with a booklet about the history of chocolate, and the display of each item that they are selling... with pictures and explanation what is it made of! Drool! Leave a Comment Theme: Food and DrinkAddress: TC "Milenium", Knez Mihailova streetPhone: +381 11 625056Other Contact: (mob) + 381 63 8085717

Well, when I am in Belgrade I am mad of shopping even if I hate it at home. But it is caused by the hunting of new films on dvds, cds and other stuff like books, little alcohol bottles and so on. However, Jelena should tells the stories about my shopping. We have a great collection of little sample alcohol bottles at home so I got the idea to bring some from Belgrade as well. Not that we have not tried the local beverages but those little ones weren't interesting when you are there for the first time or so. But as a gift that should be very interesting, you should buy each for 20-30 dinars (maybe more now) and there is a great variety such as mentioned Pelinkovac or Lozovaca. Hehe and if you are smart enough you will let your Serbian friends to buy them :) that you don't look like notorious drinker...
20-30 dinars Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Knez MihajlovaDirections: right in the center, the kiosk I bought the stuff is near Plato cafe
