BELGRADE CITY CENTER
Walk down Terazije, Knez Mihailova, and the part of Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard closer to the center for some familiar names like Hugo Boss, Mango, Springfield, Diesel, Replay, Benetton, Zara and the like.
Most shoe stores also offer bargain prices for pretty good quality footwear, so check them out in this area as well.
Peek into some local shopping malls (such as Čumićevo sokače off Terazije Square, in a passage right after McDonalds) and some of the smaller, no-name stores for an occasional great find, and check out some of the smaller discount chains such as India Shop.
What to buy: BELGRADE DIRT-CHEAP SHOPPING
The flea market ("Buvljak" or "Otvoreni Tržni Centar") located in Novi Beograd (New Belgrade) has been reorganized a few years ago and now hosts stands selling everything from bicycles to house appliances and to clothing and footwear. You will have a lot to choose from no matter what you are buying and the prices will be very very low.
The Blok 70 shopping mall in New Belgrade is today dominated by small vendors from China, selling everything and anything for nearly no cost at all.
When venturing to either of these two locations, keep in mind that bargaining is always in order and make sure you give it a shot before settling for the sellers’ first offer.
Shopping for cheap clothes, you may have a look at Depo on Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard, which sells women’s and men’s clothing at very low prices. The selection is usually limited to the styles that are currently most worn by the masses.

on the way to Kalemegdan fortress from the main street look out for local craftsmen selling their wares to tourists. Little old ladies dressed in traditional dress selling handkerchiefs and embroidery and other souvenirs. It may be a little more expensive than elsewhere as it smainly for visitors, but it certaintly brightens up the scene a lot.

The Lush creative team has been working together since the late seventies when we first started to hand-make our own cosmetics. In 1978 we sold our first product to the Body Shop and in 1988 we set up Cosmetics to Go, in Poole, Dorset, by the sea on the south coast of England, where we surprised the bathing public by inventing products such as Bath Bombs, Shampoo Bars and Massage Bars and built a hugely successful, catalogue-based mail order cosmetics company the like of which had never been seen before.
Today we have 370+ shops around the world, We also operate mail order businesses from the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Taiwan and the United States. We hand-make our cosmetics in UK, Italy, Canada, South America and Japan, in our own production facilities, so that every product available in our shops or sent to you by mail is as fresh as it can possibly be because fresh products work better and use fewer preservatives. Our aim is to have the youngest, freshest products in the history of cosmetics.

Street vendors are situated at the end of Knez Mihajlova Street. Mostly they sell handmade souvenires with Belgrade and Serbian motives. You might find yourself overwhelmed with the offer and it is not very likely that you will find the same item on two stands.
What to buy: The offer is huge. You can buy anything from handmade items in glass (rings, earrings, small figures etc.), cast fridge magnets, handmade mugs, ceramic ashtrays, wooden trays, pictures, mosaics, bells etc.
What to pay: What you are going to pay depends on the item. I'll just tell you that what you pay is not going to be even close to souvenires in other European touristic spots and these are going to be mostly handmade and therefore unique

This is a shop where you can find different stuff. It is a typical european gift shop, and it's very nice. Plus, it's in the center (of the city, of course).
What to buy: Mugs with Bealgrade themes are always nice and interesting and you can find dozens with different prints, all describing Belgrade in it's best and most accurate way. You want a T-shirt? You can find it in here. Anything else? You are at THE place
What to pay: Whatever the price is, you'll have to pay it because you can't find those items anywhere else in Belgrade. I strongly recomand mugs made by Marija Stanojlovic, master of applied arts.

Most of you know about "Lush" products. Soaps, bathing foams, shower gels... And what they are probably the best known is that they DO NOT TEST THEIR PRODUCTS ON ANIMALS!
I love going in this shop but the problem is I always have problems deciding what scent to buy :)
What to buy: What ever you go for is not going to be a mistake. Still, my favorite are bubble baths :))
What to pay: Ok, this depends on what you are going to purchase and in what amount. It starts from cca 3-4EUR and up

If any evidence were needed that Serbia is pulling out of its depression, then a walk down Knez Mihailova would dispel any lingering doubts. The street is awash with designer labels and big brand names, and plenty of people keen to buy them up. I picked up a pair of Caterpillar boots in one of the city's big chains, for less than the lowest price I could find them for in Germany. And they seemed to be doing good business.

Lush arrived to Belgrade as well. It's a chain of natural handmade cosmetics, without preservatives and unnecessary wraps. For instance, you get to buy soaps on kg, and they're packed like cheese in the supermarket. :-)
You can find all kinds of soaps with different fragrances, colour and design, with shiny pearls and colourful spots if you are a fan of cheerful outlook. There are lip balms, etheric oils, bubble bath foams, skin and hair care products and anything your mind can imagine, possible or impossible. Each product has a characteristical poetic description with white chalk on a black board. You can touch and smell everything and kind staff is there to help you in your choice and give suggestions.
