It is not the particular place :) but the whole street, you can buy little souvenirs and pictures here. Not to speak about pirate cds :). I just got this nice picture of Kalemegdan from my friend Bogdan. I suggest to buy some funny tablets with names of streets such as "Lazy Corner" or so. It is fun :) and no one will understand it at home when you stick it to your door.

Stores are open from 7 or 8 am till 8 pm , except for very few , that work from 7 am till noon , and again from 5 pm till 8 pm .
Public Holidays are: Jan 1-2 New Year,
Apr 27 Statehood day, May 1-2 Labor day. Plus some Orthodox Christian holidays like Bozic Jan 7. Stores might not work during those holidays (it depends on the store)

This is about all the Pijaca's in Belgrade. A PIjaca is a outdoor market , where they sell everything .
What to buy: I always buy at least 2 pairs of jeans , fabricated in Novi pazar but looking like the real thing , and feel like it to wear too. The copies are really good and u can only tell if u are an expert.
What to pay: Think u pay from 10 to 30 € but then u get a good pair

"Narodna knjiga" has a wide collection of Serbian books - from literature to history to fact! I'm not sure if there are English translations to these books but it's worth a try!
