On my picture you can see new sport hall build for European basketball championship in 2005. It is designed as a universal hall for all sport events: basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis, athletics, as ice hall and a hall for cultural events and other programs. The total space it covers is 37,500 sqm. It will have 20,000 seats and most up-to-date equipment for all programs. On January 5th 1947, the first match between Partizan and Red Star was played on the Yugoslav Army (now only Partizans) stadium. It will be remembered as the most exiting and dramatic game ever played. If you love skiing you can ski in Belgrade too. There is artificial ski ground in park Kosutnjak. You can enjoy in winter sport right here in very center of town in every season of year.
