Cacak Travel Guide

 Makisha Says:  Remains of the Roman imperia in Cacak are Roman terms which are located in the back of the Hotel Beograd in the very centre of the city.

 Makisha Says:  Nadezda Petrovic monument is situated in front of the high school Gymnasium . She was our famous woman painter who also worked as a nurse and died during the First World War. It was raised in 1953 for her eightieth birthday. Her brother was a famous writer Rastko Petrovic. 

 Makisha Says:  High school in Cacak (Gymnasium) is very old. It was founded in 1837 and it is situated in the center of the town. I went to this school and I have a lot of memories from that time, I like that time, my school friends, my teachers. That was very joyfully period of my life. 

 Makisha Says:  Ovcar banja is 161km far from Belgrade and also half way between Cacak and Pozega. It is surrounded by the woods of the mountains Ovcar and Kablar and the river Zapadna Morava runs through it. This health resort have term mineral water (38 degrees), great clime and clean...

 Makisha Says:  Health resort Gornja Trepca is situated 460m above sea level, on the wooded slopes of mountains Vujan and Bukovik, among Cacak, Gornji milanovac and Kraljevo. Mild radioactive water has biological effects on human’s organism and all these things make this health resort... 

 Makisha Says:  Cacak is one of the cycling centers in our country. Many races were on the streets of Cacak. 

 Makisha Says:  This is famous hall in Serbia. Many basketball players played basketball against “Borac” in this place: Vlade Divac, Drazen Petrovic, Toni Kukoc, Sasha Djordjevic, Sasha Danilovic etc. Citizens of Cacak are proud of basketball.
