Getting to Lepenski Vir is straightforward – it's right off the main road – but there’s no public transportation to it. The bus between Golubac and Donji Milanovac runs right by the entrance several times a day, so you might be able to get the driver to stop, but it’s not official and the driver might not agree. You’d then have to flag down a bus to leave, which again might or might not happen.
It’s possible to hire a cab or small boat in Donji Milanovac that will take you, wait for about an hour, and take you back. The cab cost about 10 Euros in fall 2011, boat was somewhat more, but would be a pretty couple of hours on the water; cab or boat can be arranged through the DM tourist info center.
Cycling or walking, it’s about 15 flat km west of Donji Milanovac. The entrance is easy to see from the road, on the river side. The road is fairly narrow, with very little shoulder, and is the same route taken by buses and trucks.
There is talk of starting regular bus and water shuttles, but as of this writing, neither exist. They are also trying to build a larger dock, so the larger cruise ships can stop there.

Go down the stairs to the left of the parking lot, past the lovely ethno houses, through the forest to the museum. The entrance fee's 50 dinars (May 2005) if you go with a group.
Take deep breaths when walking through the forest as sweet fragrances of trees and flowers fill the air.

Well it is not hard to get there, all you have to do is take the road Belgrade - Donji Milanovac.
Belgrade - high way to Nis, and then turn right to Pozarevac.
Pozarevac - to Veliko Gradiste and Golubac, and towards Donji Milanovac.
15 km before Donji Milanovac, between tunnels no. 7 and 6 there is a small turn left ( there is another one after the tunnel 6 ) .
It is apoximately 100 km away from Pozarevac and 190 km from Belgrade.
