Once you get in the town, either at the bus or train station, you are likely to be approached by people offering to exchange your money for dinars on very tempting rates. DO NOT!
They will try to give you fake banknotes!
Fun Alternatives: There are numerous exchange offices virtually at every corner, so why bother? The diference in exchange rates between them is minimal.
The only problem may be that those offices are closed on Sundays. Even in that case, do not accept stranger's offers for money exchange- go to a hotel reception instead
DO NOT take the taxis that are located outside main bus and train station and airport. They will charge you a fortune!
Fun Alternatives: Instead, phone a regular taxi service. You can do it from any phone booth (the cards cost about 3 Euro and can be bought at any kiosk).
All taxi services in Nis begin with 97 (9701, 9702, 9703....to 9712)
