    Church is the oldest buildig in the town(1834). At the time I visited it , the local wedding took place. It realy was very interesting to watch. I had to wait till it was finished as I wanted to light up the candels for the people I care about.

    The ambience is like it was a century ago. I can't realy describe it, but if you ever go to Vrnjacka banja you should visit it. Dimljena vesalica ( smoked pork grilled at theopen fire ).

    Caffe "Maska" is situated on Cajkas hill. There is great view on Banja from here. But there is one problem. This caffe is open only during summer season.

    I enjoy very much visiting open markets in every place I travel. It is so lively, full of colors and nice smels of fresh fruits and flowers... Fruits grown in surrounding areas, completely natural way as it was long time ago...mmm..,that is why it taste so great...try it. Unbeleveble cheap(1kg of plums coasts about 30 cents)

    It is realy a local custom to grow the flowers whereever is possible. Local yards, windows, doorways etc. are decorated with different kinds of flower. On this photo you can see flowers in the old wooden tram, charming, isn't it ?

  • Try to start the day Serbian way

    In the open market you can get some home made, canned fruits.When you get up in the morning, take one or two coffespoons of that with a glass of water and after that drink coffe and next is breakfast of course! This delicious stuff is called SLATKO and my advice is to try one from the strawberies grown in the woods.
