The Town Library (Gradska biblioteka) was founded in 1877. Its 1st librarian was Felix Mileker (1858-1942), famous historian and archeologist.
The library houses 200,000 books, the oldest being 1 from 1496. There are a lot of other valuable books, most of which once belonged to the most important people from Vrsac.

The Tower of Vrsac is the symbol of the town. It's the 1st thing you'll see when approaching Vrsac.
The Tower stands at the top of the 399m-high hill overlooking the town, and is in fact a remnant of the military-strategic fortress, most probably built in the mid-15th century.

St Gerhard's Roman Catholic Church (Katedrala Svetog Gerharda) is 1 of the most monumental buildings in the town. When you see it, you'll know what I mean.
It was built between 1860 and 1863 on the place of a former church with the same name. The architect was from Vienna.
The church, with its rich decoration and high bell-towers, is as impressive ouside as it is inside. Here you can admire its engraved furniture, wall and altar paintings, glass-windows and sculptures.

St Nicholas Church (Nikolajevska crkva) was built on the site of an older church dedicated to the same Saint. This one was finished in 1785, although its ornaments were completed in 1805. Several well-known artists worked on it - Nikola Neskovic (10 icons), Pavel Djurkovic (iconostasis), Simeon Jaksic, Mihajlo Popovic (wall paintings) and Paja Jovanovic (2 paintings).

One of the most beautiful buildings here is definitely the palace-like Eparchy Court (Vladicanski dvor). Just take a look at its impressive iron gate, and then admire the building itself.
It took 10 years to build the Court, between 1750 and 1760.
The Court houses an important gallery of Bishops' portraits and a rich collection of icons and rare books written in hand.
