The “Perper” restaurant is new in Zemun but very well known in Serbia and Montenegro with its grill. In pleasant ambient you can enjoy traditional Serbian way of preparing grilled meat.
Favorite Dish: We took “Leskovcaki voz” (“The Leskovac’s Train”). It looks like this: you choose several kind of meat, as much as you want and think you can eat, and a waiter will bring you one by one so it stayed warm and tasty and you can try several different tastes.

We celebrate one Orthodox New Year in it. It is in the basement of the building and it's very huge.
Unfortunately, if you want to have game meat, what I attended to have and they have it on the menu (wild pig, deer, quail...), you have to call a day in advance.
Opened from 11AM to 01AM every day.
Favorite Dish: So, I took some steak with Gypsy's sauce. Choice of wine was very good.

Pancakes of all kind! Here in Zemun (or Belgrade) you will see something very strange - after nightlife it's custom to buy food before you go home. It can be Burek, some barbecue or pancakes. :)
This picture was taken on our way back home from supper. We must have something sweet :)) There is always rush in front on Pinokio but that is sign that their pancakes are great.

"Balkan ekspres" is nice cafee-restaurant in old railway wagon. They have best terrace in whole Zemun and during summer you can enjoy in great view.
Favorite Dish: You can try some pastas from they kitchen but I recomend you Italian piroshki.

Like asses, we are enjoying some pivo (my fault) ... and are soon to be eating fresh baked lasagne!!!
I don't know what we were thinking, but it was fun!!
Perhaps I am a bad influence... but I was still on a New York time schedule... so for me it was still evening... and not morning... PARTY TIME!!!

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Zemun. It's situated on the river Danube. Here you can enjoy in fresh fish or in other fine food. While enjoy in your food enjoy in nice view on Danube and Belgrade.

Sent Andreja or Saint Andrea is village in Hungary with a lot of Serbian population and Churches. It was inspiration for the owner. You can see a lot of paints of Sent Andreja inside.
The food is mixed, international, Hungarian and Serbian.
Favorite Dish: If you like hot meals, try something from Hungarian part of menu. It is fantastic.

This restaurant offers a lot of meals of sea and river fishes. Also, there are several chicken meals. In the night, there is live music and you have to have make reservation. You can enjoy very nice view to Danube River and Veliko Ratno Ostrvo (…Island).
Favorite Dish: I had “Kyiv Steak”. It was very nice chicken steak with butter.

I WENT HERE WITH MY FRIEND ZOKI. THE DAY WAS COLDER THAN HELL, AND THE WIND BLOWING OFF THE RIVER WAS MURDER. IT WAS NICE TO GET INSIDE AND GET WARM BEFORE HAVING TO WALK BACK TO ZEMUN.
I'M A SUCKER FOR STUPID SOUVENIRS... THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT THIS SUGAR PACK BACK TO NEW YORK.
Favorite Dish: I ONLY HAD CAPPUCCINO. BUT IT WAS GOOD.
