If you have a car, driving around this area is fantastic. Beautiful roads but watch the hairpin bends and trucks, and sheep! Don't miss stopping off at one of the roadside stalls to buy sheeps cheese and homemade fruit cordials. Delicious!

The most beautiful views, except the views from Transfogaras Road (probalby there are more but we didnt climb mountains unfortunately) are the views on the way from Curtea de Arges to Bran. Idyllic panoramas like in a fairy tale. An absolute must!

Peles Castle used to be the Romanian Royalty's summer residence and retreat.
It was built in the year 1873 by Carol I, first King of Romania.
Nowadays, it is a museum well worth taking the time to visit.
Very few places in Europe can match this display of exquisite art and architecture.
One of the most impressive things about the castle is the room made only of masive gold.
The location of Peles Castle compliments the beauty of the Carpathian Mountins, and it blends in with the natural black drop.
The beauty of the castle has yet to be discovered by the seasoned traveler.

The castle at Rasnov is in many ways more memorable than Bran. It is a bit of a climb up, but more spacious and less touristy.
