While in Brasov or in Peles, why not include Cantacuzino Castele in your places-to-visit list?
The Cantacuzino Castle was built in 1911 at the request of the former Romanian minister, Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino. The entrance to the castle is uphill so your guess is right - you'll see a nice view when you reach the gate. You'd like to lie down on the grass, sit on the modern couches, sip a cool nice drink or your kind of warm drink while waiting for the guided tours. You may also have a look around as there are fountains, grotto, and waterfall.
The walls of the castle were not really maintained and it will break your heart when you see that the paint is peeling off. The architecture is very good - you'll appreciate the stucco marble, the stained glass, ceilings, the handrails and, yes, the paintings are still in good shape and the tour guides try to make the most out of it.
Open from Monday thru Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Be careful, when the snow has fallen as it gets very slushy and slippery. Take care what you wear cause that can aid in your slippery if you are not wearing shoes with decent soles. Do not wear shoes with leather soles. Not going to work!

Visiting the park even in winter time, seem to be something that gets done around here. In the evenings the park was beautifully lit with wonderfull lights and just made it look so welcoming.

In case you feel the need to pray on the way to Busteni, I spotted this lovely little church as they call it along the way.

This one is for the brave ones only. They only use the tummy of the cow which they cut into thin strips and it is a creamy soup, to which they add additional sour cream
