 mvtouring Says:  Visiting the park even in winter time, seem to be something that gets done around here. In the evenings the park was beautifully lit with wonderfull lights and just made it look so welcoming.

 mvtouring Says:  This one is for the brave ones only. They only use the tummy of the cow which they cut into thin strips and it is a creamy soup, to which they add additional sour cream

 mvtouring Says:  Be careful, when the snow has fallen as it gets very slushy and slippery. Take care what you wear cause that can aid in your slippery if you are not wearing shoes with decent soles. Do not wear shoes with leather soles. Not going to work!

 Dizzyhead Says:  I tried the daily soup they had here and it was really delicious. I liked it so much, that I could not stop to eat it. Very delicious.

 mvtouring Says:  Most of the restaurants will serve this soup. I was not brave enough to order it, but did try a spoonful from my friend's. Tasted much like sour cream to me.

 mvtouring Says:  Firstly, we had to request service as no-one was interested in serving anyone. Secondly, most of the dishes they could not serve as they were out of stock. Then the food that we did get was of such bad quality that I would not recommend anyone going there.

 mvtouring Says:  We were caught in a snow storm without snow tyres and that made the trip a bit stressfull for us. However the sight of the forests and in the mountain passes were absolutely breathtaking and for someone like me who is not used to it , it was absolutely fab.

Walking in the snow

 mvtouring Says:  Be carefull when walking in the snow as you could find yourself no longer walking, but lying on your back.

 mvtouring Says:  Now this one might not be for you Europeans, but it is for us people who never ever get to drive in snow. You need to ensure that the car you are driving has to correct snow tyres. Driving with snow tyres just make it so much more easy. When you get to spots where there are...

 mvtouring Says:  Unfortunately you are not allowed to enter the monastry, but it is a lovely building. 

Othodox church

 mvtouring Says:  This lovely church is situated on the monastry grounds. It is very colourful and beautiful. It is the biggest church in Sinaia, and this is where the main religious events take place. The inside is also very nice.

 mvtouring Says:  A quaint little shop on the monastery grounds that is a must visit. 

Peles Castle - Sinaia

 mvtouring Says:  This one is a must-see.It used to be the residence of King Carol I and when it was built was one of the most modern and comfy castles of Europe. The interiors are nice but nothing you have not seen in other castles across Europe. Besides the guided tour is not what I would...
