Iasi Things to Do

  • jorgejuansanchez's Profile Photo

Iasi is famous for its churhces, but all of them are orthodox. That is why when I saw a Catholic Cathedral I entered to see the atmosphere. There were few people, perhaps because it was not a Mass moment. There were more faithfull people in other Orthodox churches that i had just visited.
Anyway the structure of the cathedral was attractive. I loved the visit.

once you arrive in iasi the most convenient way to get around the city is by taxi .It's cheap and fast. You should prefer the firms that exist. You can easily call a taxi by dialing to a firm's number ex. 941 , 222444 , 217217 etc.

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: Blvd Stefan cel Mare is closed for cars on weekends. So plenty of people stroll along. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful.

Fondest memory: Sitting outside of one of the churches listening to the singing and the prayers.
