The best means of transportation ( if not walking) is the tram. This is a safe, cheap means of travel in any Romanian city. Make sure that you validate your ticket with the little orange box on the tram. the routs are mostly straight on and very difficult to get lost as they will return back to the center of town. Great to ride in order to get a layout of the city on your first day in town.

- to go to Baile Felix which is a very famous turist atraction , you can go with the tram number 3 to the end of the Nufarul district. And than you can take a private(not legal) taxi that is charging you only 10.000 lei (the same as theunconfurtable bus) per person to the Baile Felix

If your travel plans include Hungary after visiting Oradea (16 km far from the Hungarian border), then you probably ask yourselves about transportation...well my advice to take the bus (at least for budget travelers).
One of the companies that have daily bus trips is GIG IMPEX SRL.
The busses are leaving from the main railway station of Oradea (across the road, near the tram station) every day at 7.30 AM and 18.30 PM (Romanian time).
The cost of a round trip is about 17 EURO, one way is 10 EURO. Be there with at least half hour before departure for assuring your seat availability.
You can also make reservation by phone.
The trip will take about 5 hours and the last stop will be Budapest - Nepliget.
Happy travels!!!
