Oradea Warnings Or Dangers

When travelling from Hungary I was thrown off the train 10 miles before Oradea at the border.
Apparantly because my passport was a fake! I had to wait for 2 hours in a freezing cold office on the border before the police decided to let me go, I think they were more interested in the football on tv.
On the way out again, my case was searched by a different guy and they give you a lot of hassle.

Who is planing to go to mountains, in caves or rivers, it would be advisable to announce :

- be carefull in the bars and pubs, if you are drinking late in the night don't show how much money you have, don't show your Laptop, or your Jewelry(gold). Don't go home alone, it's more safe to take a taxi.
You can find very strange people in some of the PUBs , they can come after you to rob you.

We met Carla (Carla25) here at the Lotus shopping mall where she usually shoots some pool with friends. But i was quickly told of by two big security men that photographing wasn't allowed. I tried of course to argue with them. After all, it is just a shopping mall.. But NO stayed the answer.

So when i was back there i took the picture from next to the car...

This building that was built in 1890 is now an health maintenance organization... but take a look in it... its about to collapse...
Not like other buildings in the old town this is in a very bad condition and needs a complete renovation until it gets to western standards... so watch out if you go near it that no stone will fall on your head...

Ok.... I have never used a Public Restroom and I never want to!!! Best bet is to use a coffee house or bar. Trust me! the cost of the drink out weighs the tramatic experience!
