The word on the street is that they don’t like Americans, so you will wait long before service. How Brits or Germans would fare I don’t know. Given the number of (well-behaved) large parties of Americans from Habitat For Humanity and the mission teams from ACDR and Partners, you would think they would have softened in their attitude. This is the fanciest restaurant in town, and the décor is mildly interesting, including boar, badger, and chamois skins on the wall. The food is fine but unexceptional.
The service is prompt and friendly, the food is varied and good, everything is clean, including the bathrooms, and the location is just off the main street. No other restaurant in Beius can make all those claims. It is not fancy, and certainly not expensive – just a comfortable place for a light meal. Make this your regular restaurant during your stay.
