Favorite thing: See the main square in Brasov: Piata Sfatului.
In the middle of the square: Casa Sfatului, meaning the House of the Town Council, in rather bad translation:).
Actually this used to be something like that in the medieval period.
The square houses from time to time a music festival, a lot of talking around that, more than singing.

Favorite thing: Go downtown to see the old center of the city. It is called the Old Townhall's square. The whole square is surrounded by old buildings with an uniques style. The Townhall is very interesting with its tower which makes it look more like a church.
There is also a museum in the Old Townhalll which you can find intesting. It exposes different symbols of the woking branches in this very important commercial center in the old times and also some furniture and other items of everyday life of old times.
In this square one of the most famous and big music festivals in Romania called The Golden Stagg. It is an international festival and its tradition dates back to the communist times. Lately it couldn't take place anymore because of financial reasons. But this is the square in which it took place.

Favorite thing: Go for a ride with the teleferic!
Fondest memory: Winter sports, mainly skiing and snowboarding, bring in the winter season thousands of tourists coming from all over Europe. Sleigh rides, ski jets or ice-skating are only few of the things you can enjoy visiting Poiana Brasov.

This is a place to relax for many visitors of the city and for the inhabitants of it.
