Bella Musica is a very nice restaurant opposite the main square. Built in a former cave, it has a relaxed setting with candlelight, a varied Mexican and romanian menu, free tequila with your meal and a music menu!

The Cetate (Citadel) is the former Brasov's fortress built on the top of a hill in 1533 as part of the fortifications surrounding the medieval town of Brasov. It was restored as a restaurant complex in 1982 serving Transylvanian dishes. Medieval shows by night. The waiters wear medieval clothes.

This well-known and central situated restaurnat in Poiana Brasov have been serving gourmands for over 40 years. Considered to be one of the best restaurants in Romania. The Outlaws Hut serves traditional Romanian food in a wooden building near the ski slopes. Sit at one of the long wooden tables and have a second look at the decoration: guns, dried peppers and cobs of corn and lots of skins (boars, sheep, wolves and one bear).
Favorite Dish: Try a tuica (plum brandy), served in a blue ceramic treetrunk and impossible to drink without spilling...

Nice ambiance, good service. The food is very good. As for the terrasse, there is a fountain and it's covered... so even if it rains, you can enjoy fresh air!
Favorite Dish: Sarmalute or turnedo Calypso! The first one is traditional romanian food : meat in cabbage roll. The other one is the MOST TENDER beef I ever eat... especially in Romania!
Also, Papanasi (say papanash), a romanian dessert. Order in the beginning of your meal, because it's very long to do. This is 2 dough with sour cream and jam... very very good!

The food is excellent with big portions, great service with a soft ambiance.
Do not hesitate to ask for wine advise. Alexandru stayed 3 years in France and is known as one of the best wine taster (sommelier) in Romania!
Nice little restaurant, but difficult to find.
Favorite Dish: Medallion of porc with camambert and cranberry sauce... hummmm!

My favourite restaurant: 'Cetatea'-I love the location,on the top of a little mountain and I loved the atmosfere .The decor(lots of armors) and clasical music (used to be years ago) give this mediveal feeling and it was unusual for the times.Food and prices were not as important for me, as it was the ambiance.
