Brasov's main shopping street is the pedestrianised Republicii Street.
It starts at the northeastern end of the Town Hall Square (Piata Sfatului) and leads towards the Central Park "Nicolae Titulescu".
You find all sorts of shops here, including clothes, books, souvenirs and even art. More shops can be found on the Mursenilor Street.
Also a visit of the stylish Galeria Corona shouldn't be missed, although you probably won't buy anything here.
The gallery houses many exclusive and exquisite Romanian designer boutiques. A free toilet and the Turabo Cafe can be found here as well.
The Galeria Corona is located in the historic Hirscher House at the Town Hall Square. The history of this former trade center dates back to the 16th century.

From clothes to luggage to aftershave, Star is a multi-level department store that has it all. Prices are higher than other stores, but convenience is its main selling point. If you need a battery for your camera or a video cassette for your camcorder, you can find it at Star.

This is the shopping street of Brasov.
You can buy all sort of stuff here, from shoes to clothes to antiques or art.
Something I bought here is some Gerovital products. A brand of Romanian made beauty products that are made only of natural ingredients. Very reasonably priced and you can find them in any Pharmacy.
Good option if you run out of moisturiser!

There is this shop in Brasov that is called VIRUS and we couldn;t help laughing outloud!!! THey said they offerred 10% discount, and we wondered was it for the virus of influenza, HPV or flu, and would the ebola or (God forbid!) aids patient get a greater discount... Morbid black humour, but c'est la vie... better to laugh tnah cry!

Galeriile Orizont 3000 is a shopping mall 10 minutes east of the center. If you need clothes or shoes, this is good place to go. Prices are much lower than in the center.
