Tampa Mountain and The Black Church are Brasov's most significant symbols. The Black Church is one of the most imposing monuments built by the Germans in Transylvania. It is called like this after the catastrophic fire that alomst burnt the city in 1689. The fire and the heavy smoke turned it's walls black. It is the biggest Gothic church betwen Vienna and Istanbul and has the biggest church bell in Romania.The Church is also famous for an old organ that has 4000 pipes and it's one of the boggest organs in South-Eastern Europe
