The statue was created by the sculptor Virgil Fulicea in the year 1975.
Baba Novac was a courageous general in the army of the Mihai Viteazul.
After the battle by Miraslau, in the year 1601, as the Mihai Viteazul was murdered, Baba Novac was caught and was killed, through inhuman procedures.

The statue of Matei Corvin was created by the artist Janós Fadrusz in the year 1902.
The monument is to be found in the Unirii Square, in front of the St Michael Church, and is a very imposing making with a height of 12m.
The pedestal of the statue interprets a bastion of the wall of the Cluj fortress and it was realized by the sculptor Lajos Pákey.
The monument shows the rides statue of Matei Corvin surrounded from four statues of:

Pavel Chinezu

The rider statue of Mihai Viteazul is an important monument in Cluj-Napoca.
It is placed into the Mihai Viteazul Square and is surrounded from a small park.
The sculptor that has created the statue is Marius Butunoiu, and the monument was discovered into the year 1976.
On the Bas-relief of the foundation was shown the successes of Mihai Viteazul: the successful Turk fights and the union of the three Romanian provinces, in the year 1600. Leave a Comment

The Georg statue is located in front of the Reformed Church; on the Kogalniceanu Street.
The monument is a copy after the model of Prague.
The sculptors, which created the original statue in Prague, were the two sculptor brothers Martin and Georg of Klausenburg.

One of those is the Romanian star poet, Mihai Eminescu.
The other is Lucian Blaga, a great, talented poet that was very important for the Romanian people.

 Anti-Communist Resistance
Monument by HORSCHECK
It was unveiled on the 10th of June 2006.
The massive cube with a size oif 6 x 6 x 6 metres was designed by the architect Salvanu Virgil.
