The University Babes-Bolyai by Fam.Rauca This famous university from Cluj-Napoca, named according to the Romanian biologist Victor Babes and the Hungarian mathematician János Bolyai, is, with its 45000 students, the biggest and the most complex university from Romania. Already in the year 1872, the first university was established in Cluj. In the year 1959, the two universities from the city, Babes and Bolyai were unified into a single: Babes-Bolyai, with Romanian-Hungarian teaching languages. The institution has 22 faculties. My middle daughter is registered this year 2007, for a semester, as understudy student, into this famous university, to the foreign languages faculty. She has the possibility and the luck to live into this beautiful city for a few months.
