Ummmm, well....what should I say about this club??? I've been there two times...the first time at the grand opening last year with my friend Alina and her husband Phil, right after their wedding here, the second time just recently with...Alina and Phil again :) as they just came to spend the Christmas here. So you all see, I have been a faithful friend :))
This club is a hip and trendy one, as Romanian young society understands it. Being there, both times I realized that people here watch TV a little too much, especially videoclips, J.Lo and P.Diddy, daddy...whatever his name is now :) Everybody (except us, OF COURSE) came wearing the most expensive and "fashionable" clothes they had, showing as much of their jewelleries as they could and climbing the highest "heels" they could walk...or stumble on...
It's a funny place to watch the people "showing off" if you don't find it disturbing :)...I know we had more fun that everybody else, because we didn't care how many people were studying our "casual" clothes that didn't really fit on the catwalk :)
The music is good, the club is big enough, alot of smoke though...It's worth paying a visit while in Constanta:)
Dress Code: Whatever makes you feel good!
The Casino in Mamaia is one of the oldest edifices of the Sea station.
Here, there are a lot of good restaurants and bars, night-clubs, play rooms and other attractions for the many visitors.
The good meals and beverages that are to be found here are well-known on the Black Sea Coast.
The Casino Complex was built into the year 1935.
The restaurant Halle and the Casino offers to the visitors a large number of possibilities, to spend here a wonderfully night.
Gambles, good cocktails and other beverages, and a big variety of meals, are a few from the attractions of the casino.
A walk in the evening on the wonderful avenues of the Archaeological Park is a pleasure in summer time.
It is stunning to combine the romantic with the fascinating things.
Make so an experience, and go walking on the superb ways of the park.
Even though it has been open for too many years, I never went there, maybe because my friends didn't so...you know how that's like. But I went last night and it was great, so don't miss it!
Dress Code: No special dress code:)
My first time there was 5 years ago. From the begining it was one of the hottest places to go dancing. They had all kinds of music and I liked it most when they played older tunes. Nowadays it gets very crowded during the weekend but its still a nice place to go and have fun with your friends. If u want to have a table, be sure you make a reservation prior your arrival. Also if you can'rt stand the smoke, stay away or stay a little.
Dress Code: No Sneakers and no sport shoes.
It's one of the best places in Constanta to chat with your friends over a pint of good beer and some delicious Irish food. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff professional and the whisky cake...the best desert there. During summer time they have an open terrace to the sea, lots of flowers and not to forget the good music.
Nightlife in Vama Veche means hanging around on the beach from one club to the other till late morning..
Theres Club A recently opened on the beach, right next to La Ovidiu, theres Salsa and afterwards La Expiratu ('Expired') & B52...
Best clubs in terms of posh atmosphere & popularity are in Mamaia...They keep on changing, for ex Office used to host 3-4 years ago Mission events, for which famous house & tehno DJs used to show up...The club has swimmimg pools & its located 50m away from the beach..It used to be really funky & people used to party till 9 am next day...In the meantime they changed these kind of events to La Mania which is nice as well but quite expensive I would say...Can u imagine that for the 1st of May 2004 the entrance for Carl Cox was 40 Euros & u were not even getting a coke for this amount of money?! crazy country...
La Cucaracha - right on the beach for more commercial music, bit of latino and disco, is a kind of parade of the latest fashionable people with the latest brand new clothes & shoes..This is I would say the most dress to kill place on the Romanian seaside..
Kudos is the day beach version of La Mania...most of the people are on the tables and bar, this is the cool place to have fun by day..
Originally erected as a pavilion for Queen Elisabeta, it is now a restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the beach. Close by the Constanta Aquarium, display a collection of 4500 species of aquatic life from Delta, Black Sea and Dobrogean lakes. The constraction for the pavilion for Queen Elisabeta started in 1909.The style is French Baroque with rococo elements.
For $5-10 dollars more you can enjoy the spoils of the more high end clubs like Club Scandinavia and La Cucaracha. Nice people, and nice girls in these clubs... nice people and nice girls in all clubs though. I suggest you try out all clubs... they are all nice and have a pumping atmosphere.
Dress Code: Sexy clubing clothes. I suggest you don't wear sneakers unless absolutley necessary for your outfit.
This was one of the many places I stopped for a drink during my night out in Constanta. It's probably one of the nicer places with nicer clientel that I found in town.
