Gravity Park is a complex designed for practitioners of extreme sports of any age, with all necessary utilities embedded in the perimeter of the park. It was developed with the support of Constanta City Hall. Opening Gravity Park was held Saturday, May 24 2008 , and the show opening demonstrations of content: Rollerblading, Skateboarding, Trial Bike, Dirt Bike Jump and Speed Climbing. The event was attended by the best roller 100, skaters, biker and climbers of Romania.

At the end of Class 1 World Championship , Romanian Grand Prix received the prize for the best debut competition and WPPA(World Professional Powerboating Association) made the decision to organize a round of Class 1 World Championship in Mamaia for at least 5 years consecutively .
