The Bell Tower, in the
middle of the town

On an inscription, that is on the oriental wall of the tower, stands written that this tower is built in the year 1499, under the order of Stephen the Great.
It is a stone building, and has a height of 20 meters.
At the beginning, it was only 19 meters of high.
Because of the many fire fires, that happened in this city, middle of the 19 century, became after-built on the summit of the tower, an observation part.
