Sinaia Casino was built on the orders of King Carol I. The architect was Petre Antonescu. Construction work started in 1912. A year later the composer George Enescu attended its grand opening.
The main investor in the casino was Baron of Marcay, who was also a key shareholder in the Monte Carlo Casino. Players at the casino were delivered by special trains from all parts of Europe.
It was renovated in 1975 and since then it has been a venue for international conferences and banquets. Inside it is a well-equipped conference centre.

this street has a bunch of clubs and bars. They do not shut down until 4:30am or so. People tend to eat right after partying instead of rushing home in that freezing cold. The clubs also play dance music with middle eastern/arabic influence, and Romanian girls seem to know all the belly dancing moves just like what I'm used to from Turkey.
