We have had a lunch here but I feel somehow unsatisfied by the restaurant.
I know that the best positioned restaurants are not necessarily the best ones, but I was expecting for more.
They have very good location, very nice building and facilities, but the toilet was not in the best condition and the food not so well prepared as we were expecting.
Nothing to say about the price, which was only a bit higher than the average, normal for such a good location.
And the service was OK without any doubts.
I would recommend them only some intensive cleaning and to give more importance to the details when they are preparing the food.

We have spent only 30 minutes here for a breath, a cofee and an orange juice.
It was amazing to listen the piano on the open terrace, surrounded by the old walls of the city.
We have re-charged the batteries here in the best possible way... you have to try it too.

This place is located nearby Sibiu. On the road to Paltinis, the highest mounting resort in Roumania, you pass through a beautiful landscape where people use to go out and make barbeques, mostly during the summer.
Here you can find many pensions and restaurants. Between them is the restaurant Mai (May), where they make very good pancakes.
When i feel like driving and get out from the city, i come in this place, take a pancake with a coffee and enjoy the fresh air, the sounds of the river and looking at the beautiful mountings.
Favorite Dish: pancake and something cold 'papanasi' which is made from sweet and fresh cheese with a good dressing.

I would recomend you to come around here if you want to eat home made food in a typical romanian restaurant for a cheap price. This is the place where Romanians come to eat or to have dinner. Normally open every day ... all day long.
Favorite Dish: I recomend ciorba de burta ( Belly soup) or ciolan de pork cu varsa (codillo con chucrut)

Going to Crama Ileana is a greate opportunity to know and taste the traditional Romanian Food as well as enjoy of live traditional music that will take you to the past. Located in an under ground saloon will give you the impresion that you are visiting a medieval tavern.
Favorite Dish: My favorite dish is Sarmale, that is a lip of cabagge rolled and boiled and in the middle have kind of meatballs, is served with mamaliga (matched corn) and cream.

Nice little local place below all the tourist stuff around the squares. The service along with the food is great local fare. hard to beat the prices also
Favorite Dish: They have typical Romanian food. I tend to like the pickle plates and the mushroom soups.

A relative big local that serves many sorts of pizza and other related kind of food. The ambiance is acceptable, and there is music as a background.
Favorite Dish: The 'Diablo' pizza is my favourite(because its one of the cheap ones-KIDDING of course)because its spicy, sometimes too spicy, and it goes perfectly with a cold beer(oh yaaa)
