STALLS: LOCAL GOODS TO BUY
The Humor Monastery is located in the former village of Manastirea Humorului, now part of Gura Humorului. As we drove through this village we saw ropes tied between two trees and hanging off them was clothing and blouses for sale. Sleeveless jackets looked to be made from Sheepksin, no good for me coming from a hot climate!
Once at the Monastery, there were a lot more stalls, most of them selling similar items. One stall had the traditional womens clothing for sale and another lovely lace tablecloths. I had a look but didn't buy anything.

PAINTED MONASTERIES OF BUCOVINA: RELIGIOUS PIECES
For anybody that would like to buy and take home religious gifts, the Painted Monasteries have a good selection.
As I entered the small area where I paid the Nun my entry fee, was where the selection is located. I didn't notice the prices. At least buying here, the money goes to the Nuns at each Monastery, and I guess they put it to good use!

Kaufland Supermarket: Self-Catering Paradise
If you'll be doing any self-catering in Suceava, Kaufland Supermarket is the best place to stock up on food and beverages. It's located right in the city center and has an expansive assortment of local and international food products, all at very affordable prices. Even if you're not "officially" self-catering, you can grab snacks and drinks for long bus or train rides here. Kaufland is open every day from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (and sometimes with earlier and later hours).

- Food and Dining
If you want to see a bustling market with lots of food stalls then you need to come here. There are also lots of small shops and stalls with all kinds of household and other items. At the edge of the market place there is a public pay toilet.
If you need an unofficial mini-bus to Ukraine then this is the place to make your enquiries.
Magazin Mixt: Nothing to buy as a souvenir....
No great shopping places, nothing to buy as a present or a souvenir. Bad or good??. They need many things to survive day after day, but not our capitalism. We live for buy, for spending money, but we are better than them??. Where is the point of perfect balance between need and excess??
