first, this is not a shop, is an open space and is not the only one. you can buy from here fresh fruits and vegetables, and you can negociate the price. Look mostly for old sellers because they are villigers, they can negociate (the others are small companyes). there can be a problem: old people doesn't speack english (the most of them). Ask somebady to help you. A lot of people speack english and a lot of people are friendly.

What to pay: With 5 RON you can have plenty of fruits. (5 RON means approximate 1.4 EURO).

Bega Shopping Center

The Shopping center is a modern one not like other department stores in Romania. It has approximately 40-50 shops that sell clothes, cd's, souvenirs, jewlery, electronics and more. There are also hair drasser and an exchnage office.

What to buy: Nothing special, the stuff there is like in any other place.

What to pay: The Shopping center is prety overpriced but its affordable.

Pedestrian street in the old city center

This streets are located close to the Victory square where there are a lot of shops, especially sport shops such as Nike and Adidas and a lot of clothes shop... mobile phone shops and a lot of very good restaurants and cafes. The shops are continuing until the Unirii square where there is too a lot of restaurants but less shops.

What to buy: You can buy there a lot of clothes... also there are some good gifts shops and souvenirs.

What to pay: It depends on the shop... International shops are at very similiar (high) prices as in the rest of the world, but less known shops are much more cheaper but the products are pretty good.
