A lot of house made wine. The local wine merchants set tents in the central park of Focsani. You can also taste a romanian(as far as I know) meat speciality, called "mici".
The prices are cheap. The quality ranges from awful to pretty good. Some wines may seem tasteful, but give you headaches the next day. That is mostly because there is much new wine, from the year's production. Also, some merchants mix the wine with chemicals, in primitive atempts of decreasing the wine's price.
There's a see of people in the park during the three or four days of the festival. Romanian pop and so called rock bands have concerts in the plaza next to the park. Don't get fooled, it's not live. The smell of "mici" is everywhere. Also, hygiene isn't a plus for this event.
I don't really like it. And there is an infinitely small chance that foreign tourists could find themselves in Focsani around November 1st. If this happenes though, give it a try, but bring a romanian friend too.
