    Not really just for kids...

Favorite thing: A pic from the Village Museum. If I remember well, this interior was in one of the houses from the area close to the border with Bulgaria.

I really got a kick out of this - the little table and stools were for the whole family, not just for kids. It must have been customary for that region for I saw a similar type of furniture in another house too. Check more pics in my Village Museum travelogues.

Favorite thing: Visit the country museum. This is a fantastic place to learn about the past of this country and its people. Further simply walk through the village parts of the city.
I'd recommend to only do guided tours, as it is not the safest place in this world.

Favorite thing: Try to visit the museums and particularly the open air Romanian Vilage Museum (probable unique in Europe).
For the amators of nice beautifull Villas I would sougest a visit on the Embassies area ,Primaverii area , Cotroceni area , Polona area .There I saw some of the most beautifull , rafinate style houses .

Fondest memory: A beer on the 'A' Club
