In the summer, when the sun is hot or burning your skin, a ride in a boat, on a small lake can be very pleasureble. And if this "ride" is made in a great company, well, life is so beautefull :))
In the park surrownding this lake, anually the leaders of our town make the Beer Festival, containing concerts, dancing, drinking beer, of course, almost for a week!

every year there is a beer festival whem ppls are getting together drink beer have contests and fun.
Museum of History has some interesting pieces of history, from barbarian coins, shields, swords, to modern clothes, guns and pictures. Is a small museum, do not expect the Luvre or something like that, but is sure interesting to visit.
Museum of Natural Science was unfortunately closed, and the local ZOO is almost dead. :(( Help needed, animals, food, and of course, money! Once, the local ZOO was proud to present the Big Broun Bear, master of Carpatian Mountains, deers, Lynx, and more of the local animals, but not only. They had lions, puma, seals, and, when i was a kid, they had a "look mom! a real live tiger !!!". Today.....
Calistrat Hogas's house, part of the National Highschool "Roman Voda". Calistrat Hogas was a writer, he wrote about our mountains, and his travels on them.
The fishing contest, anually, fun and fishing storyes (lies...:)))

there is the chef who sings old song...jeez ... is great and he has a bariton voice...and a talent to cook traditional food and not only

Well, this disco club belongs to our mayor so it has it's advantages. Best music in town, great services and so on... It's location is easy: center of the town, across the street is the statue of our city's founder Petru Rares. Maybe in time i'll be able to upload some photos.

here the nightlife is kind of missing, the local authorities decided to close all disco and bars at 10.00 pm...but you can have fun anyway

This Inn is one of our priceless gifts that our ancestors left us. Mihail Sadoveanu wrote one of his books in it. Is outside Roman and still haveing that old image of a Inn... is like a slide into past.
